Hey everyone, I'm here for an infamous update. But instead of promising things that won't happen, I'm letting you guys know about something that has happened. And there maybe more of it in the future.
I have recently come into contact with The Untrained Generation. They are a blog comprised of a variety of young creators like myself, and although I have admired their work for awhile, I have only just now started talking to them. Well, I knew one of the creators from theatre, but I only started talking to them as a blog now. Unimportant, anyways I sent them some of writing. Not my reviews or film/music related content, but my memoirs, short stories, and poetry.
So the point of this update is to let everyone know that today my erasure poem about female genital mutilation (I refuse to shorten it to FGM) in Egypt and I want everyone to check it out, and the other work on the site. The website is untrainedgeneration.wordpress.com and I hope everyone finds something there that speaks to them.
Or at least to hold them over until a video review.
